RETURNING STRING PLAYERS

(Academy 2, Reading Orchestra, Camerata Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra)

ALL String Rehearsals, camps, and concerts will be held at First United Methodist Church (265 W. Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37129)

Welcome back to Ethos!  We look forward to another great year!  This year you can be a part of:

    • Academy 2 (no audition required; for students with one year experience or who were in Academy 1 last year)
    • Reading Orchestra (no audition required; for students with 2-3 years experience – your first foray into orchestral playing)
    • Camerata Orchestra (audition required; for students with 3-6 years experience)
    • Chamber Orchestra (audition required; for students with 5-8 years experience)

REQUIRED RETURNING STRING CAMP

    • July 24-25, 2023.  9am-2pm.
    • Complete the Registration/Tuition Form (see below) before attending
    • Music Games and Fun!
    • Bring Sack Lunch and Drink to Camp
    • Parents can drop off at 9am and pick up at 2pm.
    • Bring a Credit Card or Check (made payable to Ethos Youth Ensembles) for $40 (this $40 is in addition to Ethos Tuition, which will begin in August) to first day of camp on July 24.

Rehearsals will begin Monday, August 28, 2023

    • Bring a folding music stand to each rehearsal.
    • Complete Registration/Tuition Form before first rehearsal.
    • No Rehearsal on Labor Day, Septmber 4.  Rehearsals resume on September 11.
    • Concert #1 – Monday, December 11, 2023.  5pm Call; 6pm Concert.
    • Concert #2 – Saturday, April 27, 2024.  9am Call; 10am Concert.
